Channel Partner Manager

As the Partner Manager, you are passionate about building and managing business relationships as well as selling. You will invest your time and effort each day in building and maintaining a strong partner program, and know how to manage your business. What You Will be Responsible for:

  •  Prepared to travel across North America and beyond to forge and foster new relationships
  • Achieve and exceed assigned partner development and management targets with the goal of maximizing sales of our PIM
  • Conduct thorough discovery, qualify needs and strategically prove the value of our PIM to potential and existing partners
  • Own the partner program cycle – empower partners to strategically sell Jaspers PIM to agencies and service providers
  • Develop innovative proposals and deliver strategic presentations
  • Prepare partner sales forecasts, partner status reports, and recommendations to enhance partner growth and revenue potential
  • Create and maintain detailed and accurate partner/opportunity plans, while updating and communicating them on a regular basis to the CEO
  • Understand how to fully demonstrate Jaspers PIM, communicate our value and empower partners to do more

What You Bring to the Table:

  •  5 years of successful SAAS sales and/or account management experience, including 3-5 years of successful partner/channel experience
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • A proven hunter and closer with outstandaing customer referrals and exceptional skills in prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing business
  • An expertise in effective negotiation techniques and ability to apply them based on varying deals
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a proven ability to balance and sequence competing demands and priorities
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Exceptionally strong work ethic, self-motivated, metric-oriented, curious and driven with exceptional interpersonal skills

Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and executing the project scope and direction; managing tasks and timelines for all design and application rollout,  and directing a team of designers and developers to project completion.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with both the development and design team to ensure project is within scope and budget.
  • Support designers, developers and implementation team to improve their skills and enhance their contribution to each project.
  • Write specifications and instructions including work breakdown structures for our development team to determine resource utilization and time estimates for each project
  • Provide project status reports to management as required
  • Stays apprised of client satisfaction levels, effectively communicating any findings to relevant personnel and recognizing opportunities to enhance value for the client.

  • Facilitate client planning meetings
  • Collaborate with team to develop proposals
  • Deliver well-prepared presentation of proposals to clients

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Experience working as a Project Management professional for 5+ years.
  • 2+ years managing technology projects or design projects
  • Strong business administration background
  • PMP Certification and proficiency in Agile concepts and usage such as Scrum Master an asset
  • Experience in leading teams including the ability to collaborate with team members while holding them accountable for their deliverables
  • Extensive experience with project management software (Basecamp, Teamwork)
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing or supporting multiple projects/initiatives with different priority levels simultaneously
  • Solid time management, analytical and problem solving skills with an attention to detail
  • Highly motivated individual capable of owning and leading assignments with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with minimum oversight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to read, write and interpret creative briefs, reports, business correspondence, and present information clearly to staff, clients and vendors

Hiring Senior PHP Developer

Jasper Studios is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to assist in the development of our PIM involving interaction with back office ERP systems and SaaS shopping cart platforms.  The role also involves providing general support to existing esteemed clientele.

This role requires working closely with the Chief Technology Officer, Lead Product Developer, SME Supply Chain, as well as our internal design and account teams, to build best-in-class customer-facing eCommerce and mobile commerce infrastructure solutions.

The Senior PHP Developer must be able to provide their own discipline and structure to the role, as well as be able to execute tasks with limited direction.

This position is full time on-site at our Toronto Office in Liberty Village.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in developing our Product Information Management (PIM) system
  • Analyze customer needs and provide software solutions as part of a team
  • Integrate product offerings into customers existing platforms
  • Support customer products by completing enhancements as requested, fixing bugs
  • Report to the Chief Technology Officer and accept absolute accountability for all assignments

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Well rounded experience with PHP
  • Working knowledge of Responsive Design, Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS
  • Experience working with Laravel 5 framework
  • Superb troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • 5+ years experience developing mission critical web applications, ideally in the eCommerce sector
  • Intense passion and strong desire to be successful in the field of eCommerce application development
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with SaaS eCommerce platforms is considered an asset
  • Bigcommerce, Magento or Demandware development experience also considered a strong asset

The role is focused on reaching out to new prospects and providing proprietary Product Information Management and Integration Platform solutions for customers with challenges around managing product data and executing multi-channel sales strategies. Candidates should bring a strong eCommerce background, a working knowledge of SaaS platforms and possess and good end-to-end understanding of today’s business ecosystems.
